*NEW REAR UPHOLSTRY*
By maximizing the wetted surface and getting every square inch out of its interior, the 2500 FasTrac runs like a boat two feet shorter underneath and two feet longer inside. Based on Regal's award-winning FasTrac hull, the 2500 gets families where they want to go, quicker, faster and with better fuel economy than other boats its size. The 2500's full-beam step breaks up surface tension when at speed, sending an army of air under the aft one-third of the hull. While its standard, torque-filled 5.0 L powerplant will push your back against the seat, adding an optional 8.1 will push 60 mph -- and push back your eyelids. For a touch as responsive as the ride, Volvo's EVC (electronic vessel control) or MerCruiser's DTS (digital throttle and shift) upgrades are a must. What those eyes will see is an eloquent combination of champagne, slate or white mildew-resistant, foam-backed vinyl. While easy on the eyes, the interior is even easier on backsides. Contoured bow seats, adjustable armrests and full-length, uninterrupted coaming panels provide bow riders with comfy cushions. A second glance reveals the mahogany strip accents and stitched vinyl coaming panels, pairing comfort with class. In the massive cockpit, there are plenty of spots to claim, including two fully-swiveling captain's buckets and elongated benches on either side, which open on gas-assist struts to reveal cavernous storage compartments. Detailed accents extend into the head compartment, with a standard Corian countertop vanity, cabinetry storage and Flexiteek floor.
